| Custom
made and installed to meet your needs, with your design
in mind, the in-home office set-up you've been needing will
help your business function smoothly.
We
recently designed an office with a shipping and receiving
center right in an existing two-car garage for a customer
who had a large mail-based business specializing in women's
custom belts. We designed a two-table workstation with a
phone at each station for incoming and outgoing calls (phone
orders), plus a computer/fax/copy center desk, etc. All
FedEx and UPS shipping that came in or was sent out was
successfully done from this new location, instead of using
the family's front door to their home.
Keeping
your business separate from your family's home living space
is a smart thing to do. Lots of new businesses are operated
from home, and you may even get a tax deduction if it's
a full-time business (ask your CPA for more information).

innovative, personalized home office design!

We
recently ( Finish in April of 2004) custom built this bookshelf
for the Johnson's residence. This custom built-in was made on
location starting via the empty / mostly non-finished basement
area. Lots of space was required for this task. Doors we custom
made via Deb's shop. Locks we installed at clients home. Penny
was the on-site supervisor in this picture ( lower left ). She
was great !

Custom on site trim was created via our router table that we had
brought out to the basement. It is these kinds of details that
make a big difference. Solid tiled-in marble sill.

Lighting is very important for effect. Dimmers made for bright
light levels when needed, otherwise they could be adjusted to
a much lower setting soft setting.

Files
are important for this custom built-in. The tracks are heavy duty
and they are fully extensional on ball bearings.

Mahogany bookshelf / entertainment center / file cabinet is now
done. Air duct formerly in wall was re-routed at bottom left hand
side. Internal shelf's and dividers. Stain was applied. Marine
Sparr Varnish which is typically used on some of the more expensive
high-end yacht was used. High gloss was the end result and a fine
finish it was !
